FOREIGN CURRENCY ACCOUNT

This account is appropriate for individuals with a flow of receipts and payments in a foreign currency and or those wishing to avoid exchange risks. The foreign funds could be used by holders for payment of foreign bills, remittances, purchases of or converted into Leones at attractive rates.

• This can be opened in either US Dollars, Pound Sterling or Euro.
• Initial Deposit amount is $1000, £500 or E1000 or equivalent in other convertible currency.
• This account is funded only in convertible currency and withdrawals are only by letter.
• Operation of this account is strictly in accordance with Bank of Sierra Leone guidelines issued from time to time.
