Union Trust Bank Rewards Customers – UTB Western Union 2009 End of Year Raffle Draw

One of Sierra Leone’s leading Banks, Union Trust Bank (UTB), has on the 2nd January 2009, concluded a four-week customer loyalty raffle award draw at the Bank’s Head Office, Howe Street in Freetown.

The Media Coordinator of UTB, Mr. Theo Nicol, noted that they have been holding the raffle draws in question for the past three weeks to compensate subscribers who have transacted businesses with the bank via Western Union Money Transfer. He alleged that UTB is the only bank that rewards their customers at the end of every year for successfully transacting business with it through Western Union Money Transfer.

Mr. Nicol disclosed that customers from across the country have won several prizes including mobile phone top up cards, mobile phones, portable radio sets, standing fans, DVD players, and 21 inches televisions.
Director of Marketing and Development, UTB, Mr. Kobie Walker, revealed that the raffle draws are organized to prove that they care for their valued customers.

He assured that the bank is going to continue to reward customers for as long as they remain loyal to the bank.
He used the forum as an opportunity to call on all customers to continue using the facilities of the bank. He stated that UTB is the only Sierra Leonean owned bank in the country that caters for the masses.

The Manager, Western Union, Madam Kultumi Massally, commended all of their customers for doing business with the bank via Western Union. She encouraged them to continue sending their money through UTB for safety and reliable delivery. She disclosed also that the winners of the raffle draws were drawn from Freetown, Bo, Makeni, Kenema, Kono and Lunsar.
