What is Vigo?

Vigo - Western Union’s ‘low-cost’ brand - is already one of the leading players in the US outbound to Latin America and Caribbean corridors, where there has traditionally been strong competition from cheaper niche providers.

In 2008, Western Union decided to replicate this success by expanding Vigo into new markets and corridors globally.

Vigo has been activated in Sierra Leone and UTB is the sole agent.
Vigo services are available in eight locations :
